During my time at REFY, as the sole product designer, I was responsible for the research, development, and production of numerous products such as Lip Blush, Brow Tint, Signature Bag, Compact Mirror, and many upcoming releases. These products received considerable positive feedback upon launch, significantly expanding REFY's product line and reaching a wider consumer base.
UNDERSTANDING BRAND POSITIONING
During my time at REFY, I was involved in a broad spectrum of product design, ranging from designing core product containers to creating daily care accessories. This role marked a distinct transition from my freelance work, given REFY's well-established brand identity and loyal customer base.
Initially, I dedicated myself to gaining an in-depth understanding of REFY's branding elements. This foundational knowledge enabled me to effectively blend diverse design concepts with REFY's visual identity, enhancing the brand's positioning and distinctiveness. At REFY, every new product starts with detailed market research. The product development team uses a comprehensive approach to ensure that our products are innovative and make daily routines more efficient.
As a designer, my focus is distinct from colleagues who deal with formulas and ingredients. I design the product's packaging and structure. This task includes carefully analyzing competing products, thoroughly understanding user experiences, and utilizing advanced manufacturing techniques from our suppliers. All these efforts are aimed at laying a strong foundation for my design ideas.

During the actual design phase, I typically create several different product concepts as per requirements. Depending on the timeline and specific project needs, I choose various representation techniques like Photoshop, 3D modeling, and scene rendering. Additionally, for internal company presentations, I create physical models to help colleagues better understand the product's dimensions and feel. Following this, the manager decides on a specific direction based on various inputs to refine the details further.

After establishing the project direction, my work primarily involves discussions with suppliers about the product's functionality. Thanks to my language skills and cultural background, I can accurately and appropriately convey diverse ideas between the company and Far East suppliers. This greatly enhances communication efficiency and significantly strengthens the relationship between the company and its suppliers.
